  1. I already had most of them on my playlist before they were jeweled here and most often I broke into a song and dance with lyrics ready on my lips and scenes scrolling before my eyes. Obviously, the ones that weren’t there, are now stamped irrevocably along with the rest.

    1. I would have loved to see AV singing “Tum jo mil gaye ho, tho yeh lagta hai, ke jahaan mil gaya” in Aarohan. Not for the story-line itself, but to show-case his singing prowess.

  4. When I was re-reading the story, I wanted to make a playlist of all the songs used in the story by you and also of those posted by your readers. Now that u have already compiled a list, it makes my job very easy – thank you meera for your efforts. I too am a true lover of 90’s music.

      1. I fell for that song after the interlude, of course I had heard it before but had never resonated. After the interlude it just made sense😄 This version sung by M M Kreem himself is also lovely

  6. AV’s list —- while i love the ones that made the list, I would add the following to my list not only becos they were simply perfect in the situation but also becos i know i played them in a loop for so many days after they appeared in the update …… they just struck me that hard at the time…

    ** Mujhe raat din bas mujhe chaahti ho….
    ** Aise na mujhe tum dekho, seene se lagaa loonga….

    So many memories of our time here — cannot say Thank You enough, Meera!!!

    Somehow I only visualize them …

    It began with Jaadu Hai Nashaa Hai , Teri Meri Prem Kahani , Tumhi Dekho Na …..

    And now your River songs …
